These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Table for Two mobile app (the “App”). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Table for Two helps you pick a country, choose a dish you can cook at home, cook it together and collect stamps in a digital passport. The App is currently free to use, with every country and feature included.

2. Founding members

If we introduce optional paid features in the future, people who started using the App during the free launch (“founding members”) will keep every country and feature that is free for them today at no charge. Any paid features would be offered and billed through Apple, with their price and terms shown in the App before purchase.

3. Cooking safety, allergies and dietary labels

Recipes are provided for general information and home cooking. Always check ingredients for allergens, cook meat, fish and eggs thoroughly, and follow safe food-handling practices. Labels such as “Vegetarian” or “Muslim-friendly” are a helpful guide only — check every ingredient yourself if you have a dietary, religious or medical requirement. Cooking times, temperatures and servings are approximate. You cook at your own risk; we are not responsible for injuries, illness or damage arising from preparing or eating any recipe.

4. Content and photo credits

The App’s design, text, recipes as written and passport artwork belong to Table for Two. Dish photos come from photographers who share their work under open licences (for example Creative Commons CC0, CC BY and CC BY-SA, public domain, or the Unsplash License). Each photo is credited to its author in the App, and remains the property of its author, used under its licence. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes; please don’t copy, resell or redistribute the App or its recipe collection.

5. Your photos

Photos you add to passport stamps stay on your device and belong to you. We do not receive them. If you share a stamp outside the App, you are responsible for what you share.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the App — for example by trying to break, reverse-engineer or overload it, or by using it in a way that breaks the law.

7. Apple’s terms

Because you downloaded the App from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these Terms, Apple’s agreement takes priority.

8. Changes and availability

We may update the App, add or change content, or update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.

9. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Table for Two is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded.
